Welcome, KC Hawkeyes!

Since 1985, the Greater Kansas City Iowa Club's mission has been to connect University of Iowa alumni, friends, and fans located through the Greater Kansas City Metro are through various events and activities and to support and celebrate The University of Iowa, Iowa Athletics, as well as local interests in the Kansas City Metro Area.

Activities and events include, but are not limited to:

• Hawkeye game watches

• Annual Holiday Party

• Outings to local sporting events

• Trips to area attractions

In addition to raising awareness about University and local events, we also provide financial support to various programs and initiatives.  Funds provided by the club are generated via membership dues, fundraising events, and general donations.  Past donations include, but are not limited to:

• Scholarships given to Kansas City area students attending The University of Iowa

• Donations to various departments or groups with the University of Iowa

• Kansas City charities

If you are interested in assisting with club events and activities, we are always looking for additional board and committee members. We generally meet the first Monday evening of every month to discuss past and current club activities, and plan future events.
